Deanna Platt graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2015. With a life-long passion for underserved communities, she earned a degree in Special Education. While attending USM, she worked at ACE Cheer Company as a cheer and tumble instructor and was the director of the Cheer Abilities program, a program designed for athletes with various levels of disabilities. She has been teaching in the school setting for 8 years where she was able to continue pursuing her passion for serving while incorporating movement into the classroom environment to enhance her student’s learning and meet their ever-evolving needs.
Deanna has been living in the Nashville area for the past 3 years. She enjoys live music, cooking, spending quality
time with family and friends, and attending sporting events.
