Teresa attended Columbia State Community College where she played basketball and received an Associate Degree in Communications. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a Master’s in Education from Middle Tennessee State University. Teresa also received her Education Specialist Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Lipscomb University, becoming a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
She has worked in the system for over 10 years, and she currently serves as a Behavior Analyst for Metro Nashville Public Schools. Teresa also works as an in-home therapist, providing ABA services. In addition to her professional accomplishments, her prized joy is being a wife to William Kizzie and mother to Layla and William. In November of 2019, Teresa became an author, writing her first book called, “The Journey Without You.”
